Pandemic Distance Learning
Today's students must be familiar with distance learning or PJJ. maybe there are some children who don't have an android cellphone. This Pjj is highly organized by Android phones and laptops as a means of communication between teachers and students. This is where obstacles occur during this pandemic period. We don't know how many children have smart phones, let alone people who live in remote areas, for example in rural areas. Must be able to access in distance learning. And not to mention, the signal needed there. We must realize this that, during this pandemic, not everyone can adapt to what is happening in their environment. However, there is another side that makes people happy We must be able to adjust in any way. Because if we can't adapt automatically, we can't equate the environment with the conditions we measure.
Students must also take part in this activity. Especially for those in 12th grade high school, many of them are busy with their own affairs and also need to be guided by their parents so that there are no mistakes.
The Ministry of Education and Culture as the formulator of government policies in the field of education has studied all phenomena and dynamics in society during the pandemic and has conducted various studies with experts and practitioners to survey local governments and most importantly discussed with all relevant stakeholders which culminated in the issuance of a 4 Ministerial Decree (Mendikbud, Minister of Religion, Minister of Health and Minister of Home Affairs) on 19 June where face-to-face learning could only be carried out in stages in the green zone based on the recommendation of the Task Force, other than that there was no face to face and the local government was given the authority to determine the PJJ method that would be used accordingly. with the conditions and capabilities of each area. it could be Tatap Maya, Group Learning Online or other PJJ Online or PJJ Offline. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education and Culture as the regulator will periodically evaluate each system implemented by the regional government through LPMP.
For Kabupaten Padang Pariaman to take steps by continuing to implement PJJ both online and offline in PAUD and non-formal basic education units, considering the Padang Pariaman area is still in the yellow zone status. The method used by Padang Pariaman tries to make a breakthrough in Learning Media through videos made in several learning sessions according to the curriculum content while still adhering to the learning implementation schedule. After being verified by the supervisor and the Education Office, the instructional video is disseminated by each education unit to all students according to its designation in various possible ways, starting from video download links, downloading at school, distributed via CDs, flash drives and even forming independent study groups in places with minimal students. digital access. This policy guarantees that all students must be able to access learning videos in any way. Evaluations are carried out periodically as needed, can be weekly, monthly, mid-semester to semester exams.
Individual or group independent assignment questions are delivered in the final session of each learning video and collected according to the schedule set by the homeroom teacher while taking the video for the next session. The principal and homeroom teacher become the person in charge and mediator between students and teachers during PJJ policies
This innovation idea was taken by the District Education Office. Padang Pariaman responds to the conditions that force learning to be carried out even though the pandemic strikes by minimizing the risk of direct contact and gathering large numbers of students, so it is hoped that the process of implementing education will continue
